ChangeEd
ChangeEd is a collaborative, AI-supported process through which participants from 24h for Change in Education come together in small affinity-based groups to design breakthrough initiatives for meaningful educational change with global relevance.
Ideas are first developed through dialogue, synthesis, and prototyping. Once each initiative has taken shape, it is opened to the general public so that anyone interested can contribute expertise, services, feedback, partnerships, or implementation support.
- Participants begin by completing a form indicating time zone, organization type, interests, and possible project directions.
- Small groups are formed around affinity, compatibility, and shared educational concerns.
- Zoom conversations are recorded and processed with AI to identify promising ideas and project pathways.
- AI helps draft web pages, forms, interaction flows, and prototype materials for each initiative.
- Once a project is sufficiently developed, it becomes an open collaborative initiative available to the wider public.
How the ChangeEd process works
The process is designed to move from interest to action. It begins with focused small-group collaboration and grows into open, public-facing initiatives that invite broader participation.
Join
Participants complete an initial form sharing their time zone, organizational context, interests, expertise, and the kinds of educational change projects they would most like to help develop.
Connect
Participants are organized into a limited number of small groups based on affinity, shared concerns, compatible time zones, and complementary strengths.
Imagine
Groups meet on Zoom to brainstorm needs, opportunities, and bold possibilities for change. These conversations are recorded so their ideas can be captured and extended.
Shape
AI synthesizes the conversations and helps generate project concepts, draft descriptions, participation flows, possible structures, and early design directions.
Build
Once the concept is clear, AI-supported development is used to create web pages, forms, prototype resources, and interactions that make the initiative visible and understandable.
Open
The initiative is then shared publicly so that anyone who wants to participate can contribute ideas, services, partnerships, technical input, research, piloting opportunities, or implementation support.
What makes ChangeEd distinctive
ChangeEd is not only a space for conversation. It is a mechanism for turning global educational dialogue into collaborative, open, prototype-ready initiatives.
Small-group depth
The process begins with intimate working groups so participants can build trust, explore complexity, and generate ideas with depth rather than remaining at the level of surface discussion.
AI as amplifier
AI supports transcription, synthesis, concept development, drafting, prototyping, and digital production, helping groups move further and faster without replacing human vision or judgment.
Open collaborative growth
Once projects are shaped, they are opened to the wider public so they can grow through distributed participation, shared intelligence, and voluntary contributions from around the world.
From focused incubation to open public collaboration
ChangeEd begins with a core group, but it is designed to culminate in initiatives that are open to anyone. Once a project has been conceptually developed and its public-facing version has been created, it is shared openly so that people beyond the original working group can help strengthen and bring it to life.
What the public phase can add
Opening the initiatives to wider participation is a central part of the model. It allows each project to become stronger, more diverse, and more actionable.
Broader intelligence
Public contributors may bring examples from their own contexts, practical experience, technical knowledge, design ideas, implementation suggestions, pilot sites, or strategic partnerships that enrich the initiative.
Continuous refinement
AI can help organize incoming ideas, cluster contributions, identify recurring themes, update pages and forms, and maintain continuity as projects evolve from early concepts into stronger collaborative prototypes.
ChangeEd is designed to turn global educational conversation into collaborative action.
The original groups originate the ideas. AI helps synthesize, shape, and prototype them. Then the wider public is invited to participate so that each initiative can grow into a living, open collaborative project for educational change.
