The bilingual context in Brazil as the country is going through a national law which gives challenges to bilingual, international and private schools that offer English as a second language. I’ll briefly describe the context regarding curriculum and teaching hours.

Andrea Miranda, head of the Maple Bear Alto de Pinheiro School, will share how students from primary school submitted a project to make the school facilities adequate and suitable for a newly come student with physical disabilities. The focus is on inclusion and diversity, and flexible arrangements.

With a video, students themselves will explain the steps on the PBL project.

Final remarks on how a student-driven project has changed the actual facilities of the school and we will reflect on the experiences the students and all their family have gone through.
