Introduction on General Education Trends in Tanzania and gaps/challenges in teaching.
Ochola Wagoya, Coordinator of the Tanzania Education Network will describe the context regarding Syllabus, curriculum and Teaching methods.
Anande Nnko, Managing Director of Jobortunity will describe how their private organization is teaching young Tanzanian who are out of school.
The last speaker will be John Nzira, Director of Twende Social Innovative Center, who will speak on how they teach young people creativity and innovation. This segment will be coupled with two students who will present their creative projects.

Dickson has 8 years of experience in program designing and implementation working with NGOs and Start up Social Enterprises in Tanzania. Currently he works for Save the Children International – Tanzania.
Dickson is socially conscious and willing to take advantage of technology and modern trend in addressing modern complex development challenges and forge development programs that inspires creativity among East African youth and community based solution to complex development challenges.
