Paula Barberis specializes in educational innovation. Her main focus is the inclusion of technology with purpose through student centered instructional design. She is currently the director of Learning at Egg Cooperation where she leads the development and implementation of innovative solutions for cooperation-based learning environments. She has over 20 years of experience in education and has been part of leadership teams in widely recognized schools in Argentina such as Carmen Arriola de Marin and St Andrew’s Scots School. Arturo Alejandro Archundia Gonzalez
Alejandro is Professional Development Coordinator at Soluciones Exa/Sensei Learning. He is a writer, actor, psychologist, facilitator, Educateko and Educreador. He has published more than 12 e-books and has been working for many years in training teachers on new technologies and emerging pedagogies.
He pioneered the implementation of the Apple Professional Development in Mexico as well as leading the Apple Professional Learning community in Mexico.
In 2020 he designed a hybrid learning model, currently being implemented with great success in schools all over Mexico. He has developed creativity courses for adults, and as a teacher, he incorporated some unique techniques such as laugh-based therapy and clown´s noses in the classroom. He is currently working on a “Improteacher SPA” methodology, whereby through improvisation, emotions and theater, teachers can design creativity centered learning experiences based on Jacob Kounin´s pedagogy.
Kristin Anderson is an educator, researcher, founder and CEO of The Brilliance Project. Through her research and consultancy over her 20-plus-year career, Kristin has helped thousands of educators, leaders and aspiring world-changers transform their potential and unleash their personal power through the lens of education.
Kristin has worked within instructional and leadership roles across a diverse range of K-12 settings, and in parallel has completed advanced degrees from Sterling College, the University of Denver, and the University of Colorado. Hanadi Dayyeh, PhD., is a researcher in the field of Arabic Historical Linguistics. Her research focuses on the evolution of the Arabic linguistic theory and its impact on the teaching of Arabic.
She has led Queen Rania Teachers Academy’s (QRTA) project for developing standards for teaching Arabic as a native language. She participated in the American Education Reaches Out (AERO) project as a member of the World Languages team. She has also chaired the Near East South Asia (NESA) Arabic Advisory group and was a member of NESA’s Professional Development Advisory Committee.
Dr. Dayyeh has several publications. In addition to her published research in the field of Arabic Linguistics, she has developed an Arabic program for learners of Arabic as a World language in grades 1-8. She has also published several children’s stories.
Hanadi Dayyeh has taught Arabic to speakers and non-speakers of Arabic. Currently, she is the Director of Arabic at the American Community School in Abu Dhabi.
Derek is regarded as one of NZ education’s foremost Future Focused thinkers in education.
He works extensively with schools and clusters as they seek to prepare students for their future. He also consults with policy makers and government agencies regarding the future directions of NZ educational policy and practice. In recognition of his work, Derek was designated one of 2008’s “Global Six” by the George Lucas Educational Foundation that recognizes individuals making a difference in education.
Dr. Arvi Balseiro
Dr. Arvi Balseiro has been the Head of The Cushman School for the last ten years. She is one of only three Heads of School to lead the 98-year-old school, which is Miami-Dade’s oldest continuously operating private school. Prior to becoming Head, Dr. Balseiro held various educational roles and earned multiple grants and awards from the Florida Council of Independent Schools for her innovative design in curriculum projects.
Dr. Balseiro currently serves on the Board of the Florida Council of Independent Schools, Florida’s prestigious accrediting body for independent schools. In the past, she served on the Board of the Florida Kindergarten Council and MIMO District. She is Founder of TEDxCushmanSchool and TEDxYouthMiami and served as a curator for each for four years.
