Born in Bucaramanga, son of two educators, he has grown up amidst conversations on education and the opportunities opened up by learning. A family man, husband, father of three, and passionate about the intersection of education and technology. He holds an MBA and a Master of Education degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

He is the founder of new Cambridge school, and English institute, school head, and a co-founder of RedCol, the largest school network in Colombia.

He accompanied the inception of the British School of Cartagena, was also the principal of Vermont school in Medellin and is now leading Redcol Impact, a division of RedCol seeking to provide access to quality education for all students.
